AMS opened its HR/Recruitment Centre of Excellence Client Delivery Centre in Kraków in 2005 with a vision to be 150 people in 5 years. Today the centre employs c. 550 people servicing 35 Forbes 500 clients in 18 different languages across 48 countries and also operates as a Captive Shared Service Centre for HR, Finance and Corporate Services. Key clients include: Barclays Bank, Vodafone, Deloitte and Credit Suisse

AMS has an excellent reputation as an employer of choice and has achieved the title “Investors in Human Capital in Poland” three years in a row. The company provides over 8,000 training hours per year through the AMS University that delivers both internal and external courses linked to an employee’s personal development programme. This is linked to the AMS competency framework and career structure which results in over 25% of the AMS workforce being promoted year on year. Employees are surveyed twice per year and the senior management targeted on increasing employee engagements ratios.

AMS supports a number of CSR initiatives in Poland through its partnership with the Leonardo Association (helping long term unemployed back into work or various different others. Employees are given time off to provide languages and software classes and to help people to write to CVs. AMS runs a number of fund raising events throughout the year including “The 3 Peaks Challenge”, in which employees climb 3 Tatra mountains in 72 hours. AMS employees gave over 3,000 hours to CSR activities in 2012

Despite a difficult global market particularly within the recruitment industry, AMS has managed to grow its Krakow centre by 300% in 2 years and has consolidated its position as global leader in RPO by expanding its centre in Manila and opening a new office in US.

The company was the anchor tenant in the Bonarka 4 Business Centre thus stimulating the development that has led to 4 buildings and employment for a further c 2,000 people in the area.
