The offshoring and outsourcing industry has gathered momentum over the past 5 to 10 years. We are moving from a focus on the wage arbitrage gained by moving work from expensive locations to lower cost locations to a model now where as the wage differential erodes companies are looking to offshoring to move up the value chain, whether in IT, Finance & Accounting and HR or knowledge processing and innovation outsourcing, such as creative industries, research and development, recruitment and legal services.

In this session, the audience can learn how organisations are looking at the next generation of offshoring in different ways in order to create value for their organisations by putting their Shared Service Centres or Global Business Services at the strategic heart of their business to achieve greater competitive advantage.

The session will explore the global trends in offshoring, what best in class companies are doing and the developing value proposition for offshoring, with particular reference to the CEE region.
